Lady GaGa Makes A Statement At The VMAs!

There are certain celebrities who we can't wait to see walk the red carpet at award shows, and Lady GaGa is one. GaGa arrived at the 2010 MTV VMAs on September 12, 2010 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. She was wearing a gown by the late Alexander McQueen, from his final collection (for her first outfit choice of the night).
Later, she changed into another outfit by Giorgio Armani but it wasn't until her third and final outfit choice that turned heads (my head definitely turned)! She accepted the Video of the Year award from legend Cher for her song, Bad Romance. Get this --Lady GaGa was wearing a dress made completely out of raw meat, with a matching hat, purse, and pair of boots, designed by Franc Fernandez!! This outfit is similar to the meat bikini she wore on the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan recently.
When she was asked about the meat dress, Lady GaGa tried to explain, saying that wearing the meat dress was a political statement. She had discharged members of the military escort her to the show because of the Don't Ask, Don't Tell Policy. Lady GaGa said "It is a devastation to me that I know my fans who are gay feel like they have governmental oppression on them. That's actually why I wore the meat tonight."
No matter what Lady GaGa's outfit choices were, she took home Five VMAs. She won Best Dance Video, Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, and Video of the Year all for her song Bad Romance, and Best Collaboration for song, Telephone featuring Beyonce.
After she accepted the video of the year award, she announced the name of her new album, Born This Way. I'm a big Lady Gaga fan! I love her music, so I can't wait for her new album to come out! Congrats Lady GaGa on all your awards!
