Football team and Insurance Company team up for charity!

I love when celebrities get involved with charities! The New England Patriots football team and United Healthcare insurance company teamed up for the "Do Good Live Well" campaign at the Boys and Girls Club in Waltham, MA on October 26, 2010. 150 volunteers from United Healthcare and some of the NEP players and their wives signed up to help build a playground for the Boys and Girls Club. Tom Brady was one player that volunteered his time on the project. The playground would be the first one for the center since it was founded in 1938! OMG - another celebrity that supports the "Do Good Live Well" campaign and volunteered his time to help build the playground was Donnie Wahlberg (heart him) from the group New Kids on the Block!

The construction for the playground was handled by a great non-profit organization called KaBOOM (they help build playgrounds all over the country), and the playground was based on drawings from the children that attend the center. What a great way to get the kids involved and excited! Kids- Enjoy that playground!!
